Pigs may or may not be able to fly, but as people across London learned over the weekend, Jaguars certainly can.
Many people across the UK’s capital spotted the car being airlifted across the capital, sparking a flurry of bemused tweets.
Dan Griliopoulos said: ‘Anyone got any idea why there’s a helicopter flying in circles around central London dangling a car?’
Another Londoner, Rich Stakounis, said of the ‘flying car’: ‘Things you see every day in London: A car on a sled under a helicopter with its lights on.’
Sadly we have to confirm that an exciting hi-jinx is not the reason behind these sightings, it is part of a publicity stunt for the new Jaguar ‘baby’ XE sports car.
